Jordan Levy is a versatile filmmaker who has been represented as a cinematographer for over 20 years in commercials, music videos, television and film.
Born in New York, Jordan began studying art and photography at an early age, studied Advanced Shakespeare in London, and graduated from the Florida State University Theatrical Directing Program. Starting as a lightning designer for NYC Off-Broadway stage productions, he soon moved to LA and entered the industry assisting some of the most influential directors and cinematographers of the time, including Harris Savides, Tony Kaye, Samuel Bayer and Albert Watson. You can see a mixture of all their influences in Jordan's work, and he is called upon for his expertise in a wide-range of specialty areas, from comedy to visual fx.
Recently, in addition to multiple national celebrity commercial campaigns starring Sharon Stone, Kaley Cuoco and Jeremy Renner, Jordan has shot several television comedy series for HBO, Netflix, Amazon and Hulu, with great actors and comedians such as; Awkwafina, Anna Faris, Juliet Lewis, Jake Johnson, Seth Meyers, David Spade, Chris Redd, and Bert Kreischer. This year he also leads off with his HBO series, "It’s Florida, Man", from the producers of "The Righteous Gemstones".
